Job Description

  • Full Time, Permanent position working 38 hours per week plus overtime
  • Day Shift working 08:00am to 16:06pm, Monday to Friday

We are currently searching for experienced Warehouse Storeperson - Inbound & Receiving, to perform a range of stores and warehousing tasks at our Branch.

As a part of our team, you will be leading the inbound receiving functions, ensuring the daily processing of receipts from both local and overseas suppliers using Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks and other material handling equipment, as well as manually handling products.

You would also be involved in the daily warehouse functions, assisting with stock put away, order processing, dispatch of customer orders and playing a vital role in the broader warehouse team. 

You will join a dedicated and supportive team of 10, including a Warehouse Manager & Supervisor who lead-by-example and are not afraid to sweep the shed.

  • A valid Forklift Licence is a MUST, as is experience operating Counterbalance Forklifts at a minimum.
  • A valid Driver's License is also essential.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role - controlling and processing all aspects of inbound goods receipt.
  • Ability to demonstrate how you have effectively contributed to leading the inbound / receipting function at previous roles is crucial. 
  • Excellent attention-to-detail and the constant drive to ensure daily targets are met and maintained.
  • Order-picking and broad warehouse experience is also crucial.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, "can do" attitude and exceptional teamwork skills.
