What the role is all about

The Growth Specialist is known as the subject matter expert that our customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders can lean on for specialist support on new products and platforms. The role is responsible for supporting our Customer Group initiatives in helping build awareness, influencing internal and external key stakeholders, and supporting acquisition & retention strategies on any new REA products & platforms we launch to customers.

The Growth Specialist is known as the subject matter expert that our customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders can lean on for specialist support on new products and platforms. The role is responsible for supporting our Sales team to acquire and retain new customers on any new products & platforms we launch.

The Growth Specialist will need to build strong relationships  with our major and key franchise customers at a corporate level and be able to bring forward new ideas to grow usage at the office level to open more opportunities for the wider Sales Team.

Success will be measured by more customers using our new products to increase overall customer sentiment and revenue.

Franchise, Ownership Group engagement and  partnership growth

  • Create national, state and zone based relationships with all major customers from all markets focusing on franchise/ownership groups to present new products or new initiatives to key stakeholders, aligned to our OKRs.
  • Deliver new products or new initiatives either at in person meetings / events or via webinars.
  • Work with the Industry Partnership Manager and the Senior Manager, Sales to identify partnership opportunities across all markets.   
  • Liase with Loyalty team to create and implement agreements.
  • Supporting the wider Sales Team in driving acquisition and revenue through individual office strategies (in consultation with franchise group)
  • Lead Product consideration conversations based on franchise feedback.

Subject Matter Expert support for the wider Sales Team

  • Lead in depth specialised and higher value acquisition/retention conversations/pitches with customers
  • Act as the Market/industry expert and product champion by attending industry events and conferences and appropriately represent REA and its products

Subject Matter Expert for all x-functional teams to drive retention and new growth opportunities incl. new product value

  • Provide subject matter knowledge for all Specialist Sales areas for the business
  • Support and actively participate in workshops for Product & Design, representing customer and sales feedback on products
  • Work with Sales Enablement and Marketing on acquisition and retention strategies
  • Identify new product opportunities to grow revenue and surface these to relevant stakeholder s
  • Engaged with our Customer Success Team on creating efficiencies for customers & the sales team.

Who we’re looking for

  • Someone with a few runs on the board – Proven senior account management, sales experience
  • Evidence of achieveing targets/metrics essential
  • Outstanding presentation skills at Corporate/Exec level – engaging, motivating and optimisitc
  • Real estate Sales & Rental industry knowledge ideal
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – you need to be confident with data
  • Ability to work and engage stakeholders virtually
  • Familairity with Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to look at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
  • Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!)
  • Knowledge of advertising and online marketing beneficial
