YOUR ROLE

As an Account Manager, you'll have the chance to manage and grow your territory like it's your own business. You'll engage with existing and new customers, generate sales opportunities, and extend existing relationships by selling tailored safety solutions. You'll have the opportunity to engage with a variety of customers across multiple industries, channels, and product groups. This role is mostly an Account Management position, with some Business Development requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting the sales revenue and margin targets within your allocated territory
  • Managing accounts and maintaining positive relationships with customers
  • Identifying new potential customers and developing strategies to reach them
  • Growing existing accounts by selling tailored safety solutions
  • Assisting with the preparation of supply agreements, tenders, and customer quotations 

 

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position, you'll need to be a seasoned external or counter salesperson who is mechanically minded and ready to take the next step in your career. You'll need to have that same entrepreneurial spirit that we live and breathe here at Bunzl, as well as the ability to influence and negotiate with our customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, and previous experience as an Account Manager within a B2B/B2C environment dealing with industrial products such as lifting and rigging equipment, materials handling, and some industrial supplies will be highly valued.
