The Role

The Customer Support Officer supports the business objectives of the Bank in the management of delinquent loans, credit cards, business and savings accounts. Working with our customers experiencing financial difficulty by making suitable solution that assists them through their difficult time and to ensure we protect the Bank’s and customers security position. Providing effective, tailored solutions on a case by case while ensuring a high standard of customer service.     

The Customer Support Officer position provides you with the opportunity to further develop your customer interaction skills in a friendly and outcome driven team.  

This is role is rewarding, dynamic and it can be challenging. All training is provided by experienced and enthusiastic team members and leaders, and ongoing training is continuous due to the ever evolving needs of our business. We want you to succeed and will back you every step of the way!

This position is Full Time, onsite and based at our Bendigo Head Office.


About You

What sets you apart is your passion & empathy for delivering great customer outcomes. You will be comfortable talking to people in a wide range of situations and be able to use your strong negotiation and listening skills to guide them to the most appropriate outcome. This role is ideally suited to people looking for a career in Customer Service and Risk Management.

What you'll also display:

Previous Collections experience is advantageous but not essential, however demonstrated previous experience in a customer service based role is highly regarded.
