What the role is all about
Reporting into the Head of Consumer Marketing, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager role is focused on leading the acquisition and digital brand strategy for REA Group’s brands - realestate.com.au, realcommercial.com.au, flatmates.com.au and Mortgage Choice.
Build and plan the strategy to achieve REA Group’s business targets and brand goals through consumer-focussed and data-led marketing campaigns across digital channels (search, organic social, paid social, display, video, mobile, sponsored content).
Contribute to the brand marketing strategy for REA Group’s brands, ensuring that digital channels are represented, and that the digital strategy is aligned to overall brand objectives.
Develop, lead and mentor the Digital Marketing team, setting clear KPI’s, targets and performance metrics.
Lead a team of 2 Performance Media Managers and 3 Performance Media Specialists, who work to ensure that campaigns run seamlessly and at optimal performance.
Management of digital marketing budgets, including forecasting and optimisation of spend across channels.
Ownership of organic social channels, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Collaborate with the Content team to publish engaging articles and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, SEO, content, and analytics to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
Work with the Marketing Analytics team to evaluate channel performance using data-driven measurement solutions. Use this data to make budget and channel decisions.
Ensure all online output, both organically and across paid channels, is consistent and aligned with overall brand and content guidelines.
Take on new initiatives/projects that will help transform the current digital marketing activity.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our digital marketing efforts.
Who we’re looking for…
We’re looking for a strategic leader with a deep understanding of how to balance the goal of brand awareness and consideration with an emphasis on driving positive return on investment from an optimised mid-low funnel.
7+ years’ experience in digital or performance marketing.
Deep understanding of performance marketing channels, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns that deliver impact on business objectives.
Sound knowledge of brand metrics, and how digital channels can be used to drive outcomes.
Experience working with in-house technical teams to drive the implementation of tagging and future-proof measurement solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimise campaigns.
Experience using Analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.
Experience partnering with Brand teams to deliver bespoke / best practice assets across digital channels.
Experience managing in-house social media teams and developing social media strategy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A natural teammate, with a track record of cross-functional leadership and partnership.
Proactive mindset, comfortable working independently to seek opportunities that maximise channel impact.
