Your Role
In this newly created position as Clinical Educator, your primary focus will be to help nurture and grow our amazing Support Partner and Clinical Team.
Day to day, you will focus on the Learning and Development pillar which involves and is not limited to the onboarding of our new hires, ensuring they are set up for success, assessing our current workforce’s capabilities, completing best practice research and in turn building out and facilitating engaging training programs and workshops.
This role reports into our Clinical Manager.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and will require you to be based in Sydney and work out of our CBD office from time to time.
Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
● Lead the onboarding of HomeMade’s Support Partners and Clinical Team focusing on the training and assessment of technical skills.
● Support the training and development of the HomeMade Team in the areas of identification and support of customer care and outcomes.
● Assess the HomeMade team’s current knowledge levels in regard to customer assessment and care to develop and deliver training programs to address gaps.
● Use best practice tools and methodologies to assess the outcomes of a training session, to measure team members competencies and progress.
● Development of training resources with internal stakeholders and industry consultation.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Service & Support and Clinical teams as well as ● Leadership and Management team to ensure a consistent message in quality and compliance when changes are implemented.
● Work with Managers to provide training opportunities for staff identified for growth.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who is passionate about all things L&D and loves sharing their knowledge whilst supporting others to learn. You will need to have a tertiary qualification in Nursing as well as a Certificate IV in assessment and workplace training. Additionally, you'll come with a well-developed understanding and delivery of clinical support and case management experience within the Aged care or Disability space.
