Role and team
The Digital Franchise Marketing Coordinator role sits within the Franchise Marketing Team, focused on driving successful local marketing outcomes for our Mortgage Choice mortgage broker networks. This team sits within Corporate Communications, Events and Franchise marketing as part of the wider Financial Services team at REA Group.
Day to day of the job
As the Digital Franchise Marketing Coordinator, you’ll help to support the 800+ mortgage broker network with their social media and digital marketing strategies. You’ll assist the Digital Franchise Marketing Manager in identifying best practice and help improve our brokers’ overall digital capabilities and success. You will also be responsible for analysing and reporting on lead volume and conversion, as well as the performance of local marketing campaigns. No two days will look the same, but you can expect to do the following:
Be the key point of contact in the Franchise Marketing Team for broker queries relating to digital marketing and social media, including ad hoc and troubleshooting requests.
Support the Digital Franchise Marketing Manager with social content scheduling across broker owned social platforms and campaign rollouts to amplify the Mortgage Choice brand digitally.
Contribute to building and implementing social media and digital marketing strategies for the broker network as part of their local area marketing activity.
Support the Digital Franchise Marketing Manager with social media content creation and scheduling across broker owned social platforms and the rollout of key campaigns to amplify the Mortgage Choice brand digitally.
Liaise with the relevant REA team members across Brand, Digital Marketing, Product and Marketing Analytics to ensure all realestate.com.au and Mortgage Choice campaigns are leveraged and measured at a broker level.
Reporting on marketing KPIs such as local leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and data insights teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition.
Assess the performance of online and offline campaigns, using insights to help inform the planning and execution of future franchise marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Work with the Product and Lifecycle marketing teams to onboard new brokers onto Birdeye for customer success surveys and support with queries where required.
Understand and adhere to franchisor and regulatory requirements and ensure our brokers do too.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who possesses strong communication and analytical skills, enjoys working with people day in and day out and has the confidence to influence others.
2+ years of digital marketing or franchise marketing experience
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Sound knowledge of and experience with MS Suite (Excel and PPT)
Experience using Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Tableau, Social Media Schedulers and Content Management Systems (advantageous but not essential)
Demonstrate effective communication and ability to present confidently, and liaise with stakeholders across multiple functions
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, confidently communicating ideas and managing stakeholders
