About the role As Mable’s continues to grow and scale, so do its engineering requirements. This role will play a critical role in contributing towards our Frontend Team, primarily working with Angular (v10) framework. This role will be placed in a cross-functional squad and work on key aspects of our platform to deliver values to our customers.

How you will make an impactWe take user experience very seriously at Mable and as a member of the Frontend Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional user experience through your implementation and problem solving skills. We take great pride in making our platform as accessible as possible for a wide range of users and you will contribute towards solving real problems and delivering innovative solutions.

Who you will be working with Within your squad, you will be working with a product manager, a data scientist, UI/UX designer, QA and several engineers. Your squad is autonomous and empowered to validate problems faced by real users and collaborate to come up with solutions. You will also be part of the Frontend Team. There you will provide your technical expertise and experience to maintain and improve our frontend codebase.

What will I be doing?

  • Be part of our cross-functional squad and collaborate with its members and stakeholders to solve problems and design solutions for our users in both the disability and aged care sector.
  • Be part of our Frontend team, understand the best practice in frontend engineering, contribute your technical expertise and help the team produce consistent and high-quality code.
  • Work with UX/UI designers and QA to make sure our web and mobile applications are designed and developed purposefully and meeting high accessibility standards
  • Own the features you work on, help other engineers with code reviews, release our features to our production environments, help squad maintain and fix bugs.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone with 3-5 years of professional experience in working with Angular (2-11) applications
  • Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS
  • Experience implementing responsive applications on web
  • Ability to translate static designs / interactive prototypes into Angular
  • Demonstrate empathy for the end user
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication.
  • Desirable:
  • Mobile app development using Ionic Angular
  • Experience building accessible web and mobile applications (familiarity with WCAG a bonus)
  • Experience with GitHub and Jira
