Account Manager

  • Bunzl Asia Pacific
  • Adelaide Airport SA 5950, Australia

Job Description

  • Part-time position based in Adelaide Airport
  • Be part of a high-performing team that recognises and rewards success
  • Join a great, global multinational company with an attractive culture

As one of the world’s largest providers of product distribution and value-added services across the Facilities Management, Hospitality, and Healthcare sectors, the opportunities we provide our global team of some 22,000 talented people are endless. Ours is a culture of bringing out the best in people. And we do this with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a firm commitment to training and development, and dedicated leaders who believe that every day is a new day to see new opportunities.

As part of the Bunzl Group, Atlas McNeil Healthcare is a leading distributor of an extensive range of surgical and medical supplies, tailored to those in the Aged Care and Home Care community. With high-quality products, combined with Care, Compassion, and Understanding as the core values, our team at Atlas McNeil strives to support the people, community, and environment we live in.

You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing healthcare customer portfolio of predominantly Aged Care facilities and identifying key opportunities to expand our client’s market share in these customers by introducing new products. This role will also have you involved in facilitating customer education and training programs and providing product support. To ensure continued growth within your portfolio, you will also need to meet sales KPIs and targets.

  • Build strong relationships with the ability to deal with key personnel at all levels of the business
  • Maximise the retention of business with existing customers by ensuring products and service continues to meet or exceed the expectations of those customers
  • Expand our share of customers' business with additional products
  • Ensure that our customers value all aspects of our service rather than merely our products and pricing

You will have previous experience within the Healthcare sector, preferably with Nursing Qualifications, due to the technical and educational components of the role within Aged Care and Healthcare in general. An experienced continence nurse or similar will be highly valued as the role is predominantly promoting products such as continence aids and associated skin care products.

Excellent communication skills and having ability to speak confidently and deliver a continence education program to a large audience of nursing staff and management will also be highly valued.

To be successful in this position you will possess a proven track record of account management and sales experience, combined with an ability to create trust, build rapport, develop solutions, cross-sell, administer and grow an existing client base, and develop profitable business from within. Ideally, you will have worked within a business-to-business role and be willing to share your successes with us.

Additionally, you will be an independent self-starter who appreciates working in a team environment; you'll possess excellent organisational and time management skills and be a confident communicator and effective with presentations. Well-developed computer and administrative skills are also required, particularly with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.

Bunzl offers a broad and flexible range of benefits to our team including a profit share scheme for eligible employees, exclusive motor vehicle and health insurance products, travel and accommodation discounts, study assistance, many well-being, and community programs, and access to discounted Bunzl products.
