About the role 

Reporting to the Service Owner for Service Management in the Service Management & Group Support practice, this role involves two functions:

  • Support for the planning and execution of crucial, regular midrange patching
  • Support for IT Change Management

The role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Creating a patching schedule and change tickets, and presenting changes to the Change Board for approval
  • Communicating plans to Service Owners
  • Working with technology group subject matter experts to research and develop strategies for improving patching and reducing business impact
  • Supporting IT Change Management to ensure changes are compliant with all aspects of the IT Production Change Management Process
  • Ensuring timely, consistent communication of change is provided within Technology groups and across the Business
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders from technology and business 

About you

You will have good experience of project and IT Change Management principles, data analytical skills and an awareness of ITIL, together with good written and spoken communication skills embracing accuracy, clarity, and diplomacy.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Proven ability to lead projects ensuring objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Experience facilitating workshops with large groups of stakeholders to meet an outcome
  • Exposure to working with strategic partners and vendors
  • Experience in supporting and empowering teams in an agile environment
  • Exposure to interacting with Senior Management and building trust and confidence
  • Banking or information technology industry experience
