As part of the Bunzl Group, Bunzl Safety is a manufacturing, import, and wholesale business, specialising in the provision of reputable, quality, and innovative branded products, including, Beaver lifting & materials handling, Beaver load restraint, B-Safe height safety, onsite services.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key deliverables for this role are:

• Working in a shared services environment and being responsible for multiple-entity transactions and reporting
• Responsible for month-end, half-year-end, and year-end reporting in the ERP system (Pronto) and HFM
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing month-end journals
• P&L variances analysis and balance sheet reconciliation including payroll-related reconciliation such as payroll tax and worker’s compensation.
• GST reconciliation and BAS return
• Assisting with FBT return
• ABS survey
• Assisting with the reconciliation and renewal of various insurance policies
• Assisting with an internal audit on stock takes
• Having a commercial mindset of how to add value to the business and working closely with key stakeholders
• Ad hoc tasks when required

ABOUT YOU

• CPA or equivalent qualified
• 5 years experience in the financial accountant role
• Good understanding of accounting principles and sound accounting skills
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Able to meet deadlines
• A good team player
• Attention to detail
• Of "can do" attitude
• Good communication skills
