As the Customer Finance Manager you will be responsible for rolling up your sleeves and delivering high-quality financial support and experience to HomeMade Customers.
The role reports directly into the General Manager and you will be tasked with leading a small, yet strong and capable team, whilst driving the function by building out efficient financial processes and procedures, promoting financial control and agency for Customers as well as building strong stakeholder relationships.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and will require you to be based in Sydney and work out of our CBD office from time to time.
Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
* Responsible for the overall management and processing of HomeMade customers Home care package funding.
* Lead the debt and collections process for customer contributions (including income tested care fees and personal contributions).
* Manage the end to end claim process and account balances across external agencies.
* Promote a solution-oriented approach to solving customer issues.
* Work closely with the senior management team to advise on best practice approach and processes to deliver a fast and efficient service to customers.
* Lead process improvement initiatives and workflow improvements.
* Engage with product teams to translate the operational process into systems workflows and automations.
* Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
* Prepare and submit HomeMade’s annual and quarterly regulatory reports.
* Manage, Develop and retain talent in HomeMade customer finance team.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior Financial or Accounting experience whilst also being CPA or CA qualified. As this role requires you to role up your sleeves, you will need to be process oriented and have experience in building out processes. We seek strong leadership skills along with a thirst for producing best-practice customer service. Finally you should have advanced exposure to data manipulation and strong analytical skills across Excel and working with raw data.
