REAx is an exciting new venture within REA Group and is all about creating property technology solutions for the future. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the founding team where you will break new ground to create all-new products, solutions and experiences for property seekers, owners and professionals.

What the role is all about
You will be responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of our web applications and services across desktop and mobile devices, in a collaborative team environment.
The first mission for REAx is to launch an exciting new consumer product offering on property.com.au – and this role will be building new product experiences from the ground up.
As a member of a small cross-functional team, you will implement solutions using contemporary web technologies as well as a variety of other programming languages and technologies. Working is an agile software development environment you will use test-driven development, continuous delivery, and pair programming.
You will use your skills and experience to mentor more junior team members and promote high standard technical and user experience outcomes.
Role responsibilities include:
Designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications
Keeping our production applications stable and healthy
Leading the implementation of major features.
Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team.

Advanced skills in one or more programming languages: Typescript or Python are preferred
Advanced skills in building full stack web products using open source and cloud technologies.
Advanced skills in modern software development techniques such as test-driven development and continuous delivery.
Able to be effective in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
Strong learning agility
Someone who looks at challenging situations through a solutions-focused lens
Ability to work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
