A bit about the team and the role…
In this role you’ll be working within the Customer Product & Experience group, specifically within the Advertising Portfolio.
Your mission is to cement REA’s position as the leading provider of our advertising products within the highly competitive Developer market. Our products in this portfolio are aimed at providing a comprehensive set of digital advertising solutions to property developers, home builders and retirement living operators. The team is responsible for the product strategy, development and execution across realestate.com.au to deliver world class experiences for consumers considering a new property and undeniable value for our customers.
The advertising portfolio including listings, off-site retargeting, eDMs, sponsored content and branding profiles.
What you’ll be doing…
As Head of Product, you’ll gain a strong understanding of the needs of consumers considering buying or building a new home and the needs of our customers- think apartment and land developers, project marketers, builders and their media agencies. You'll build a clear product focus, and then shape and drive the strategy.
This will suit someone who has either digital project marketing and industry experience within the land developer or martech space. You’ll help REA revaluate our long term ambitions in the land developer space, by picking up some vision work, our tech stack and roadmap by helping shape where we go in term of new immersive tech. If you’re super passionate about growth technologies, this could be the Head of Product role for you!
Day to day you’ll deliver the following…
Develop a product roadmap which covers multiple products.
Develop a strategic plan for Developer, optimizing existing products and experiences and validating new opportunities that grow our consumer audience and provide strong customer value.
Lead a team of outstanding product managers, installing a team operating rhythm that delivers a common vision for our strategic objectives, effective processes for day-to-day operations, as well as a high-performance culture.
Contribute to the development of OKRs and lead the team to deliver a roadmap to achieve these goals.
Contribute to the broader Advertising strategy through participation in the Advertising leadership team.
Build close partnerships with our key internal stakeholder groups, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Finance.
Build relationships with 3rd parties that operate in the Developer eco-system, including proactive monitoring for new opportunities.
Shape and influence stakeholder goals and supporting in market capabilities (customer service, marketing, GTM and program coordination) towards the successful uptake of products and experiences.
Drive and set the agenda for the product community within your portfolio and contribute actively to the broader product community at REA.
What we’re after
Someone with a few runs on the board - 10+ years of Product Management.
Prior experience within Developer Real Estate/Expose to Real Estate Tech/Martech.
Demonstrated experience navigating complex stakeholder environments between Sales, Marketing and Finance.
Ability to set a vision, create a multi year roadmap, then execute on it.
Comfortable moving between strategy and detail on a regular basis.
Extremely commercially minded and customer focused.
Very familiar talking about project development and dealing with our customer set.
Should bring a growth mindset, exhibit resilience and appreciate how change can be enacted in a large organisation.
Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd
Business, Commerce or Technical degree, or equivalent industry experience
