About the role

Join us as we go through our transformation to help simplify our business and technologies. In this role you will be involved in solution architecture for our lending capability. This is a key role where you will be front and centre to build at scale. This is an exciting role as your work will focus on new capability on the cloud and transform how we do things, you will be working with and enabling cutting edge and cloud technology to drive success for our transformation agenda.

You will get the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, mentor others to see them improve their skills, whilst also having access to learning and development platforms plus the opportunity to get certified in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to architectural activities on initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into key architectural decisions and solution architecture documentation.
• Provide necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
• Participate in governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance.
• Ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state vision.

About you

• Experience in solution architecture and design roles.
• Experience leading architectural definition & delivery of large and complex solutions with the ability to influence stakeholders and decision making.
• Understanding of modern front end development frameworks and methodologies as well as microservices and APIs.
• Knowledge of various aspects of an enterprise technology architecture like business, information, data, network and security.
• Knowledge of cloud platform solutions and the related infrastructure and engineering pipelines.
• Practical experience with big data solutions in at least one major cloud environment such as AWS or GCP.
