About the team and role
Group Regulatory Compliance is part of the 2nd Line of Defence (LOD) and an independent function with responsibility for monitoring and overseeing the effectiveness of the Group’s compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations.
The Regulatory Compliance Manager is key in oversighting the Group’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations and is responsible for the end-to-end compliance lifecycle including compliance breaches, compliance monitoring, regulatory change and regulator requests. This role also involves providing compliance advice and challenging the business in how they are identifying and managing compliance obligations, incidents and risks. The role will require an understanding of retail banking regulatory requirements and how to implement those requirements having regard to the needs and priorities of the business.
This is an ideal opportunity to grow your career and develop capability and exposure in the Compliance and Risk field. You may be a recent graduate in Law or Accounting. You will join a highly skilled and experienced team and gain exposure Enterprise wide.
There are multiple positions including permanent positions & a 10-month fixed term. Various locations will be considered. Full or part-time options will be considered.
