The Role 

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our growing technology team. With offices in Melbourne and Sydney the location of the role is flexible. You’ll be part of a distributed team, responsible for developing and maintaining platforms and products such as Notes by Dubber and Dubber Chat to name a few. If you’re excited by building and supporting new innovative products for a global customer base, and enjoy collaborating with engineers, designers and product managers then this might be the role for you.

What’s your impact?

At Dubber, you’ll help shape and build the future technology direction to deliver amazing user experiences  for a global SaaS company. You will: 

• Solve complex engineering problems – the kind that come from operating at scale in a multi-cloud environment, supporting a global customer base 
• Collaborate with others to design and implement frontend components and solutions that are scalable, resilient and secure
• Continuously evolve and raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing and sharing best practices

What You'll Bring

• You have a background in software development, and experience in agile software delivery. 
• You have extensive experience in React 
• You will ideally also have experience with TypeScript.
• You are comfortable deploying frontend applications via CI/CD pipelines.
• You’ve worked in a public cloud environment; AWS, Azure, GCP or other - we are open!
• You’ve got some knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (or similar container platforms).

• You’re curious, eager to learn and have a desire to continuously improve your skills.
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping others grow and develop. 
• You’re comfortable designing solutions and shaping technical direction.  
• You know about coding and security best practices and relevant tooling.
• You’re comfortable supporting what you build.
