About the role

In this role you will directly contribute to delivering on our Risk & Compliance portfolio with particular focus on Finance and Treasury related projects, by bridging the gap between development and architecture.  This is a great role as you will get exposure to working across a range of initiatives at the bank such as Capital Framework Reforms, ISO SWIFT 20022, Foreign Tax, just to name a few.

You will get the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, mentor others to see them improve their skills, whilst also having access to learning and development platforms plus the opportunity to get certified in cloud technologies.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Design and deliver cloud-based solutions, providing technical leadership and mentoring across multiple developer squads, guiding teams as they scale up for transformation delivery
• Take ownership of the technical direction, working with architects on end-to-end design, tooling and patterns
• Produce technical design documentation artefacts
• Work with stakeholders to identify and implement the most optimal solutions (ideally cloud-based)
• Work with product owners and business analysts to deliver features
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with enterprise security architectures

 About you

• You will have previous experience building and designing, highly automated enterprise technology solutions leveraging a cloud first approach. As well as able to work with stakeholders to identify and implement cloud-based solutions
• be able to demonstrate how you have led and developed best practices related to cloud engineering
• You will have a background in software development and engineering with exposure to CI/CD tools, cloud platforms & tooling (AWS or GCP)
• Ideally you will have cloud certifications and training in cloud architecture
• You’ll be passionate about bringing your expertise on board with us and sharing with others to educate and uplift teams on DevOps and Cloud Engineering practices
