About the Community Bank
The Avoca District Co-operative was formed in 1999 and was one of the first Community Banking models with Bendigo Bank. We now have three sites including the Avoca and Maryborough branches as well as the agency in St Arnaud.
Our mission is to help build strong, connected and vibrant communities in Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud. The Community Bank model supports this with a 'profit-with-purpose' philosophy, which means profits are returned directly to the local community that has generated them.
To date, over $1.5m has been returned to our communities. Together with our partners, we will create further opportunities to grow our business, forge strong and meaningful relationships and share the benefits of our success with all our stakeholders. Our branches are valuable assets within our communities, and we have a clear vision for their future. We are leading the way as one of the ‘Better Big Banks’ in regional Victoria.
About the role

You will build the capacity of our staff and help lead a culture of growth and development that is reflected in our values.
