As Canva’s Paid Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for amplifying our organic social media content. You’ll help Canva build engagement with our existing community as we drive towards our ambitious 2022 global marketing goals and beyond.
You’ll work collaboratively with peers across brand marketing, creative, PR & Comms, growth marketing and more to position Canva as an inspiring leader in design, and drive awareness, adoption and affinity across our 65+ million users.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

  • Build, implement and manage the social amplification strategies that deliver and exceed campaign & platform goals for our social team
  • Develop A/B tests, continually taking action on results, trends and insights for maximum return on investment across social platforms.
  • Work with key partners in the business (performance, brand, audience, data etc) to get results for amplified social media performance.
  • Analyse advertising creative, audiences, and delivery trends to provide direction standard methodologies for future amplified social media creative, balancing content and targeting insights
  • Show a proactive attitude by continually optimising performance and looking for new opportunities for improvement of metrics.
  • Work with the organic & paid social team to develop ongoing reporting cadences for the paid social strategy.

About you

  • You will have proven experience with social media ad buying platforms (from Meta to TikTok and everything in between), social publishing platforms, data management tools (Sprout Social, Monday.com, Google Suite, Google Analytics, Looker, Canva)
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make strategic data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to visually communicate data and present back to team members.
  • An outstanding communicator and relationship builder, able to interpret and relay data to varying internal and external audience needs.
  • Skilled knowledge and passion for social media networks (including, but not limited to; YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)!
  • A problem solver, with a drive to simplify and innovate on existing tools and processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills to plan, prioritise and complete simultaneous projects.
  • A self-starter with tenacity for execution and delivery, able to adapt quickly to market trends and business priorities.
