The Opportunity

An Iteration Managers role is to enable the successful delivery of a portfolio of initiatives or features for a particular team or product area. They’re an enabler; they think strategically, and they provide leadership.

This is a technical role, so the right candidate will be expected to be able to dive in and have input on the design and implementation of initiatives.

The Role 

The role of our Iteration Manager is to enable the successful delivery of a portfolio of initiatives or features for a particular team or product area by:

• Ensuring initiatives are well defined and documented
• Communicating with product and platform management to capture and refine the value and requirements of initiatives. 
• Working with the development team to build delivery roadmaps, identifying dependencies and blockers. 
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and keep the wider team abreast of issues that arise during project delivery. 
• Facilitate regular meetings with the dev teams involved in your initiatives, including design workshops and reviews, standups, grooming sessions and retros. 
• Removing blockers from the delivery team.

Skills and Experience

• Technical background as a BA, scrum master, engineer or similar.
• Project management experience.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• A high level understanding of cloud services and microservice architecture. 
• Great communication skills and the ability to engage with all parts of the business, from the developers and architects to Product Managers, Executives and Sales. 
• Analytical with an ability to present a complex problem in simple terms.
