Where the PropTrack team fits in

REA is evolving how it leverages data and technology to deliver benefits for customers. After the acquisition of PropTrack in May 2018, and following large growth in recent years, we are now looking for an experienced Client Director to help grow PropTrack further as it grows as a part of the REA family.
 

PropTrack provides property data and technical platform solutions to customers in the financial and government sectors. The Commercial Team within PropTrack works together to sell solutions tailored to our customer’s needs. It is the core knowledge centre for identifying and developing solutions to meet customer priorities and thus drive the priorities of the entire PropTrack business team.

What this role is about…

This role will be a key role in developing and growing banking and finance key accounts within the PropTrack business. The role liaises with clients within Australia and some travel is necessary. You will use your creativity and thorough knowledge of banking and finance to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication, cross line of business collaboration and senior level business development and relationship building skills are essential for this position.
 

Building a comprehensive understanding of our customers’ business opportunities requires the ability to analyse data and detailed information. It can also extend to analysing work flow, assessing the impact of policy changes, and the development of hypotheses to design tests and flex scenarios in business cases.

While no two days are ever the same, you’ll:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ objectives, challenges and ambitions

  • Evolve the relationship with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Lead & Commercial Director to negotiate and close agreements with large customers

  • Negotiate and agree contract terms and conditions, and draft statements of work

  • Prepare and maintain revenue forecasts, and monitor and analyse performance metrics

  • Liaise with our Product and Engineering teams to develop creative business solutions

  • Delivering on customer adoption, usage, growth and retention targets

  • Thinking outside the box to solve problems.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for candidates with demonstrated experience and success in a strategic Account Management role with complex product offerings, ideally in finance or a related industry.

  • Track record of developing effective sales strategies to target customer needs;

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills - can identify, size up and explain a business opportunity;

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills including being an influential communicator

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong communication, presentation and ability to write documents and tenders;

  • Passionate about quality in your role 

  • Demonstrated ability collaborating  within and across teams

  • Tertiary qualified, quantitative knowledge and experience highly regarded

  • Knowledge of credit risk and mortgages product is highly desirable
