What we’re doing
PropTrack – part of the REA Group – is a leading provider of property information, analytics and valuation solutions across Australia, helping financial services, real estate, developers, valuation firms, insurance and government bodies to improve their business and customer outcomes.
As part of the PropTrack team, in this role, you’ll be responsible for understanding user needs and business opportunities to bring amazing B2B products and features to life that find product/market fit, growing our business and delighting our customers. To do this you'll be leveraging your experience in design and applying it to work towards the vision for a product, feature or experience utilising our design system, design principles and playbook.
Day to day you'll be working with cross functional partners in Product and Engineering, collaborating to deliver products to market fast, monitoring their performance and iterating on them.
You'll have working knowledge of user interface design, interaction, research processes and applying these with support to validate design decisions with users and crafting world class experiences.
A few things you’ll be doing day to day as a UX focused Designer:
Design and facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions for research, ideation and iteration
Analyse data and findings from customer research and deliver actionable insights that inform business, product and design decisions.
Bring your research to life through personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, stories or scenarios and wireframes, and prototypes
Advocate and build the awareness of UX design, human centered and innovation led design.
A few things you’ll be doing day to day as a UI focused Designer:
Create and manage UI Designs from sketch and wireframes to prototype to final digital design and handoff to developers
Work closely with developers, Product stakeholders and UXers to ensure that any new UI design patterns are feasible and easy to use.
Facilitate design reviews, feature workshops and usability testing with end-users
Create and update UI design patterns to increase reuse and standardisation
Who we’re looking for as a UX Designer:
Expertise in UX design processes and methodologies
Experience turning UX designs into actionable tasks for the development team
Extensive experience in creating and testing of low-high fidelity wireframes and prototypes
Confidence in facilitating presentations and running workshops.
Who we’re looking for as a UI Designer:
End to end experience of understanding design activities across the HCD process including design research, iterative design and prototyping and facilitation of usability testing.
Can work autonomously and in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, agile team environment and squads
Excellent working knowledge of Figma, the Adobe Creative Suite and Miro
