About the role 

The Branch Manager at Community Bank Virginia & Elizabeth will be responsible for working with the Senior Branch Manager to build the strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area. You will spend a large portion of your time utilising your business development skills to build long-term connections with local community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities for the branches. You'll also be responsible for leading your motivated team to deliver exceptional service and sales results and for fostering their talent and capability to achieve collaborative success where you will support them through effective training and coaching.

This position is working across both Community Bank Virginia & Elizabeth Branches. The role is Permanent Full time working 76 hours per fortnight.

About you

You’ll have: 

  • Experience in Residential, Commercial and Rural lending (essential)
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
  • Ability to embed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirements 
  • Knowledge of Loan Application Processing Systems and knowledge of Branch operations is required.
  • The people skills to succeed in a leadership and mentoring role.
