As part of the Bunzl Group, Bunzl Safety is a manufacturing, import and wholesale business, specialising in the provision of reputable, quality, and innovative branded products, including Mack footwear, WS clothing, Beaver lifting & materials handling, Beaver load restraint, B-Safe height safety, onsite services, and Frontier personal protective equipment.



As the Marketing Manager, your purpose will be to lead a small high-performing marketing team to design, develop and drive the overall marketing strategy across the Bunzl Safety Brands and specific customer segments.

With the full support of the leadership team, you will take full ownership of the marketing department and be responsible to identify, drive and deliver the key Marketing priorities using analytical and quantitative acumen across our 2 sales channels and multiple brands.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a small high performance marketing team to design, develop and drive the overall marketing strategy across the Bunzl Safety business channels and brands.
  • Managing and building relationships with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Working closely with our General Manager, Category Managers, Regional and National Sales Managers to provide support to help drive and grow new business leads.
  • Developing and implementing marketing initiatives and regular campaigns to help increase online traffic, conversion rates and average transaction values.
  • Overseeing the channel optimisation and testing, campaign project management, content marketing and branding & messaging.
  • Tracking and reporting the success of all marketing & e-commerce programs and continuously adjust the strategy for success.
  • Working closely with the Category Managers to develop, launch and drive Exclusive Brand products.
  • Working with both category managers and major suppliers on joint marketing initiatives to optimise sales and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Developing key themes and promotions to deploy automated email marketing campaigns, measure and analyse metrics; communicating results to the senior team.
  • Ensuring Bunzl Brand Standards are adhered to.

You’ve already fine-tuned your relationship-building skills from previous marketing roles in a construction, building, industrial sector and/or B2B environment, where you successfully managed multi-level relationships, both internally and externally. Always searching for ways to challenge the status quo, you have a proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies across all platforms, and solid understanding and knowledge of website analytics and tools.

The other essentials we are looking for:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience within marketing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a high performing team
  • Experience with leading and managing SEO/SEM marketing data base, email, and social media
