About the role

Join us as we continue to transform on our transformation journey, in this role you will directly contribute to uplifting our security capability by partnering closely with our Information Security Practice. You’ll join a great team who are known across the bank for their collaboration and excellent delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity and one you will want to add to your career history as you’ll influence how we evolve our security technology and make a real difference to our transformation. You will get exposure to working across a range of initiatives such as our Electronic Identity Project and Data Loss Prevention whilst also developing our Information Security technology roadmap. You’ll also be a leader to a solution architect who you will support and allocate items.

Responsibilities include…

  • Developing Practice level technology strategy and roadmaps.
  • Technical and thought leadership, you’ll provide active participation in the strategic development of Architecture capability, including the development of enterprise architectures, templates and standards.
  • Architecting and designing high quality enterprise solutions as well as ensuring successful implementation of technology solutions for the Security Practice.
  • Supporting the assessment of initiatives occurring within programs and for driving architectural compliance across agreed programs and projects.
  • Engagement with business and technology teams to ensure alignment and consistency and to support the advancement of the enterprise architecture across the Bank.
  • You’ll be a leader and mentor to a Solution Architect who will report into you.

About you

  • You’ll have Security Architecture experience across complex projects at large organisations. You’ll have developed skills in system architecture and software design as well as knowledge across various security capabilities, technology and environments.
  • You’ll have previously created architectures that were successfully used in large scale organisations to deliver material solutions (roles, process, technology) needed to support enterprise information security services and controls. 
  • Experience delivering cloud architecture including designing the security services supporting enterprise adoption of public cloud services. 
  • You’ll be great at building strong and effective relationships with stakeholders to influence and guide them to make the best decisions whilst ensuring relationships are maintained and in good health.
  • You’ll have the ability to provide technical leadership including coaching and mentoring across information security, architecture, governance, risk management, change management and business continuity.
