About the role

Known within Delphi Bank as a Relationship Officer, in this role you will proactively support our Relationship Managers who in turn support the growth of our business customers.  This is a customer facing role where you will build strong relationships with our customers including having the opportunity to join the Relationship Manager on customer visits to gain insights into their business and banking requirements. 

 

In this role you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end loan application process, process documentation, maintain customer files and complete annual reviews
  • Undertake financial analysis, complete credit submissions, adhere to policy and procedures for commercial lending approvals
  • Drive portfolio growth by proactive consultation and referrals, matching appropriate products to customer needs
  • Build deep customer relationships, provide timely and quality responses to requests for information or assistance and consistently ensure your customers are feeling the experience of belonging at Delphi Bank

 

Located at our Oakleigh Branch, this is a full time, permanent position with flexible work options. To grow in our niche market with opportunity to raise your profile as a Banker you will need to have availability to attend events outside of core business hours when required.

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Excellent financial acumen and financial analysis skills, ideally also with experience writing credit submissions
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry - highly regarded
  • An understanding of end-to-end lending process and lending products - highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • General understanding of the Hellenic culture and community - fluency in the Greek language  - highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in business or finance - highly regarded
