Running our facilities - Keeping our workplace running smoothly is no small feat. Day-to-day we ensure that the lights are kept on, our spaces are working smoothly, and our team members can sort out any questions or concerns as quickly as possible.

About The Role
At Canva, celebrations are at the heart of everything we do. We celebrate our success through launches, community stories and global Season Openers. Working collaboratively with stakeholders from all around the world, this role will be crucial to the ongoing success of how we communicate and celebrate our achievements at Canva. 
The Workplace Experience Specialist within the Vibe team will align to the People Super Group. You are creative, highly organized, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively to multiple groups.  You will represent Canva’s values and embody the mission of the broader Vibe team.  Working within the People Group and alongside the operations business partners and people partners, you will help create meaningful celebrations and team bonding events. You’ll be a Vibe champion embedded within the group to convey any new Vibe related initiatives, programs or policies to encourage 100% adoption.

What you'll do

  • Strategise with Operations Business Partners and/or Team Leads to schedule celebrations for all teams within the People Group
  • Plan and produce memorable celebrations tied to team celebrations
  • Plan team bonding activities and events
  • Facilitate Group and Team Birthday and Canvaversary Celebrations 
  • Manage Group and Team gifting and care packages
  • Manage Group and Team Swag and merchandise requests
  • Support Vibe team by communicating any processes, events or policy changes to the group
  • Manage external vendors and internal teams supporting events
  • Creating systems to scale the Vibe Champion program into other super groups at Canva

Who you are

  • 3+ years experience in program/event planning, operations, internal communications or a similar role
  • You’re creative and driven, and not afraid to take on a new challenge and see it through, even when the next step isn’t very clear
  • You’re a people person. A team player who is comfortable presenting to and networking with large groups of people
  • Able to influence and work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • You’re a keen communicator. Whether it’s over Slack, through documentation, presentations or across social media. You like to ensure everyone is on the same page and engaged with the message being shared
  • You’ll have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail and be able to balance the big picture with getting the important things done
  • Flexibility in working hours to help run out of hours events
  • Experience in managing a Jira service desk a bonus, although not essential
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite products
  • Able to negotiate professionally with different people 
  • Demonstrate versatility in setting priorities, plan and organize tasks
  • Has the ability to locate and collect information and distribute and organize efficiently 
  • Represent the organization in an ethical and professional manner
