Engineer (Risk)
About the role
Reporting to the Technical Team Lead (Asset Plans and Risk), the Engineer (Risk) will analyse and develop asset risks, in a timely and efficient manner through technical investigations associated with Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) fleet assets. Using your expertise and engagement with subject matter experts across the wider asset management organisation, you will propose appropriate engineering, logistics and administrative treatments to asset risks through facilitation and reviews, and ensure all asset risks are appropriately managed to support stakeholder decision making .

About you
You will have an Engineering Degree with Electrical Engineering experience. Your report writing abilities will be of a high standard including the ability to produce accurate risk statements. With a passion for the marine industry, you will have an eye for detail and a desire to improve the availability and reliability of RNZN fleet assets. You are a logical thinker with the ability to translate concepts into practical solutions.
