Where the team fits in
The team is part of the Agency Services portfolio within the Customer Product and Experience group.
Ignite is our flagship customer-facing web and app product that sits alongside our API suite, primarily used by our Customer’s CRMs. The Ignite API team are responsible for the customer facing API platform, including the API gateway, authentication, authorisation, documentation, and developer experience.
What the role is all about
The Senior Developer supports the Ignite API team in the following ways:
Designing, coding, testing, and deploying new software solutions
Being insight led and ready to pivot when needed
Designing with customers in mind every step along the way
Collaborating across teams in an efficient and effective way
Building on existing platforms to create more seamless end-to-end customer journeys
Leveraging available data to both improve product use and further tailor experiences
Learning and contributing to the tech community. We are constantly learning together, mentoring each other and striving to do things better
Who we’re looking for
To set yourself up for success in this role, you will have ideally gained experience in the following areas:
Several years of experience working in full stack development
System design experience including API design
AWS knowledge - especially lambdas, ecs/fargate, s3, vpcs
Ability to quickly switch between working with multiple systems
Able to coach/teach others
