Where the team fits in
The Learning & Development team reports through to Broker Operations, a part of the broader REA Financial Services business inclusive of Mortgage Choice, our national mortgage broker network and business.
You role sits within the Learning & Development team, who are accountable for leading, delivering and enhancing the ongoing development, competencies and capabilities of our franchise owners, their loans consultants and by extension the Financial Services business. The team is responsible for delivering a coordinated program of learning. Your role will enable the function to successfully onboard new recruits to the network as well as deliver new initiatives and change across the business.
Day to day, you can expect to deliver on the following:
Evaluate and analyse existing training materials and content to determine their relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Work with internal stakeholders and L&D Team to map content to clear learning pathways for newly onboarded franchises and their staff within the LMS.
Content Development and Adaptation: Adapt and reformat existing content to fit the digital learning environment and ensure it meets instructional design principles.
Identify gaps in existing content and opportunities.
Create engaging, interactive, and effective e-learning content, videos, simulations, quizzes, and interactive modules.
Integrate content into the LMS platform, ensuring it is organized, tagged, and categorized appropriately for easy accessibility by learners.
Conduct quality checks and testing to ensure that all content is error-free, functional, and user-friendly.
Implement robust reporting functionalities within the LMS platform.
Define and configure reporting metrics and dashboards to track learner progress, engagement, and the effectiveness of learning materials.
Who we’re looking for
Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning content creation.
Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and software (e.g. Articulate).
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Docebo) and their functionalities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Confidence to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
Experience implementing a Learning Management System is highly desirable.
