YOUR ROLE

As the Finance Manager at Bunzl, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction and ensuring the company’s financial health. By overseeing a dynamic team and collaborating with various departments, you'll drive improved reporting outcomes, optimize inventory processes, and foster a culture of continuous growth.

• Oversee Bunzl's financial management and governance.
• Mentor 1-2 direct reports, cultivating a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller on S&OP and inventory model design.
• Lead inventory reporting, management, and SLOB process enhancements.
• Drive process and system developments for enhanced efficiency.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end and yearly reporting.
• Foster a supportive, motivating work environment.
• Uphold and advocate for correct accounting standards and manage financial risks.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced professional who's ready to lead and inspire. With a strong financial background and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team, you'll drive positive change and ensure financial excellence.

• Possess a tertiary qualification & CA/CPA with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting.
• Proficient in computerized accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, direct work, and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Resilient, adaptable, and a self-starter with a results-driven approach.
• High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in team leadership and management.
• Flexibility and adaptability in rapidly changing environments.
